The Flipped Classroom

Upcoming FACT Workshop Nov. 21, 2014: The Flipped Classroom
Putting student interactions first by using technology to make lectures “homework”

Please join us for our first workshop of the 2014-2015 academic year!

At this workshop, we will demonstrate technologies that can be used to capture your lectures ahead of class and to distribute them as required reading, giving more time in class for discussion, questions, and project work. Come learn more about the trending concept of the flipped classroom and how your classes might benefit from these strategies. The FACT staff will provide a hands-on demonstration of some technologies for flipped classrooms and host a discussion about what flipped classrooms might look like at the college level.

  • What: FACT workshop on The Flipped Classroom with live technology demos
  • When: November 21, 2014 9am, immediately before the College of Education faculty meeting
  • Where: Student Center East, room TBD

Come work with tools that can help capture your lectures and publish them to the web, giving you more time in class for discussion and project work!
